 hi, i was watching a video of spearfishing at north mole and i found this. at the end of the video there is the fish that looks like a rooster fish. is that what it is?do u get them in perth?

 Hi all just wondering if anyone has any idea on what these 2 are caught it 430m off ocean reef this weekend.

One im guessing is a Black Snoek or Barracouta (not sure which one) so was returned

and the other im guessing some type of gurnard (tasted delishious)

 Got this in about 20m of water near Garden Island, I'm pretty sure it's a scorpion fish but having never seen one I can't be positive! Cheers.

 I know its not a fish, and i have my thoughts as to exactly what it is, but being so small I thought best to ask those who know far more than I do.

 hi guys, today i went to the fresh water part of the canninging river for a picnic with the family and i dicided to bring a small net and i caught these. what type of fish is it? cichled?

And another weird one... Pretty sure its not the obvious option (Pigfish) due to the half moon shaped lower fin and the long spine off the tail.. any help with this one would be great as well! thanks

 Hey all so I'm pretty confident the bigger cod pictured is a leopard wirrah but unsure of the smaller, slightly brown banded fish? Is it the same species but different sex, or possibly flowery or rockspotted cod? Or am I totally wrong? Cheers

Its not very often that I get a fish that I can't identify by going through all my books but here's one in the hope that someone has got one before or knows what it is. Caught off the back of the islands off Carnarvon last week while wetlining for snapper

 Hi everyone. Went to trigg beach and caught this funny looking fish. Pictures a bit unclear but have blue lips, about 30-40cm, gave the bream gear a good run. Anybody know what this is?

Anyone know what this is, initially thought it was a cobbler but not sure.

Was caught just out from Mindarie near the reefs. It was gut hooked and was bleeding badly so couldn't return it.

 Caught at the Abrolhos Islands..

 Any idea on what sort of whales these are? They wer white with a black dorsal fin an a few spots on them. About the size of a killa whale in a pod of 8-10 in 500m of water on the shelf last time we went out! Also had a sunfish pop up and 2 big makos

Got this in 300m.....thought it was a stripie but does not have the dark stripes along the body, rather it has light vertical stripes. Southern Bluefin??

 Caught this just of rotto in 30m any idea 

Think the fish on the right is a goldspotted sweetlips (I know what the rest are). The two finger marks on the back are confusing. This pic was a couple of hours after it was caught/bled.

 A mate got 3 of these buggers in 190m off exmouth! Any ideas? It's not a gray band an not a mulloway

Can anyone id this cod caught of the beach today metro. Had a look on Fishwreckapedia but couldn't see anything that resembled it.

Caught this guy, and 2 more just like him, in 250m off Exmouth.

Showed the lads at Bluewater, and they had no idea what it is.

Can anyone help?
