Tips
Good on ya getting out bud
Just use chicken drumsticks or wings as bait. Cheapest and easiest bait just cable tie them in your pot.
When I use to crab in mandurah I use to go down in the harvey inlet on the Birchmont side. There is an old weather platform of some desciption in the middle. There is a assive sand bank that comes out close to that platform. I use to drop nets on the edge of that sand bank then walk the sand bank scooping

I use chicken wings and put the wire clip through the middle section of the wing in between the two bones. I also put the wing on the out side of the net so it makes it harder for the shags and stingrays to get the bait

Also where piggy said is a good spot to start. If scooping don't walk around with your scoop in the air. Prod the ground with the scoop as you walk
