have been runningMXC531- its PE 3-4 and really for the price its an awesome little weapon, drop baits, light jigging mate no drama- also the demon blood range is worth a look too.
Demon Blood 56 2/4. matches the LD30 perfectly. the rod is nice and soft, but its got a shitload of guts down where it counts. Full parabolic curve through the rod too, which is missing on many tcurves and the likes. Definitely gets my vote! if you want a little longer, the 60 3/4 also works, but has a very fast action, compared to what Daiwa call a 'regular' action in the 56 series.
I've got the matching LD Hiramasa 3/4 Rod for my LD30 2-speed, and really like it - was very similar to the Demon Blood 60 3/4 that Leemo Mentioned, but slightly heavier action.

Was tossing up between the two, and in the end I went with the LD Hiramasa because my boy reckoned it matched my blue LD30 2-speed better. hehe.
