Not a whole lot of great fish today . The best fish was a nice big red by me but the biggest catch was on Sandys hook. Me. Would not survive being thrown back

Don't know about the hook but I'd get that spot checked out Russ.
Got a big hook through little finger many many years ago down the mouth of the Donnelly river, pliers wouldn't cut it so was help by plirs while rusty file used to cut through hook. Still remember it though it happened over 60 years back

That knot is the snelled top
That knot is the snelled top hook after I cut the bottom one off. They do hold
