Hey Fishos 

Noticed the forum has been pretty quiet of late. For me the forum is still the first place I research when going to a new location - Going to Cervantes in October and Dongara in Jan so been doing some reasearch. Social media has killed alot of these types of forums. Anyway whats everyone been up to without the demersal fishing? Some were saying at the start they would target new species.. For me I had a very keen buyer on my boat so I decided to sell it so its the first time in a very long time I have no big boat, only have a tinny for the odd squid bash and crabs. Other than that I have found the opportunity to get out on the golf course alot more, lowered my handicap by 4 strokes and almost in the single digits. 

Ive been stalking marketplace looking for a decent boat I can do up with my newphew. Im a mechanic and he wants to learn mechanical and auto electrical basics, he wants to get a sparky apprenticeship in a couple of years. So we thought if we could find a decent cheap boat to restore we could do it most weekends and Id teach him... Found a ripper the other day but sold really quickly, I was second in line. Would have been perfect to re-wire it, do it up, rebuild the engine..... The bloke that bought it then advertised it 2 days later for $20k, asked him if he got it for $15k and he deleted the ad and blocked me hahaha. Anyway will keep stalking, hopefully find something and can start doing that for a while haha!
