Fiji Popping - Input needed please.

Hi Everyone,

Currently planning a trip to Fiji for early 2014 and after some peoples experiences with companies/accomodation and overall experience.

Any personal feedback is greatly appreciated, if you feel its too negative and has the potential to deface brand please PM me as to keep this post smut free for admin sake.

Currently looking at packages that include 7 night accomodation with 4 or so days fishing. So far Bite Me Gamefishing kadavu look reasonable with the GT pandemonium package perfect for my needs.

Thanks in advance

Ps -  i know ill need vast amounts of Poppers, stickbaits and jigs.

I spent a couple of days with free dive Fiji, who despite there name actually do more game fishing than free dive charters. There service was second to none, and I can highly recommend giving them a call to see what they can sort out for you. The guy that runs it is an expat Aussie who lives and breathes fishing. He was very flexible and despite the fact that the fishing was slow did his utmost to get us onto fish each day. we ended up with a few nice wahoo, a yellowfin and some thumping spaniards. Despite our best efforts we didn't raise a doggie or gt.

We stayed at a place called bedarra beach inn on the south cost, near the town of Sigatoka. Would thoroughly recommend staying here as nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Make sure you enjoy your stay there, it's a special place with people who have a great outlook on life. Some of the happiest people I've ever met.

Hope this helps.
