Caught this on 8lb line with a small soft plastic. Was a great day and we also managed to hook a pretty decent Marlin on a trolled snook before dropping it shortly after, scared the shit out of me as I had dozed off while we were trolling.

Well done, yeah dropping of to sleep then waking up to the scream of the reel going mad really brings the senses awake and online.

Shame about the billy, the excitement of connecting when you dont expect to can be better than catching them some days. Mind you that might be from me being spoilt in exmouth.

Awesome fish. Lol I remember years ago at Garths rock and a mate of mine floating a mulie and him alseep on the rocks with a huge Mackie coming out of the depths and swallowing his bait. Best alarm clock ever.
