the Federal Government has asked all boat people to come as far south as possible so it wont cost as much to transport them to Northam and Leonora as Christmas Island is getting full
The decky told the skipper to make the right turn two days ago but somehow that didn't happen and being a strange boat they didn't realise how fast it travels
If they can arrive undetected, imagine what else is coming through and I'm not talking boat people.
The fate of this mob will be short stint in detention allowing for full medical and dental service - all existing conditions addressed then once fit to travel a flight home on a charter jet with a one on one AFP escort. Once back in country given $3K cash relocation allowance and then kicked off the jet to open arms of local home country authority who then charge ("cough cough") arrival tax of $2,500 leaving $500 to buy passage on next boat back to Oz.
Wow, and i thought the one that got all the way down to Steep Point was amazing that it got that far underdected! Guess its just a matter of time before one turns up off Rottnest now. Australia Security Surveillance at its best! hahahaha. Guess if they can get south of a certain area there isnt really anyone watching/looking as they are expecting all the boats to just be around Christmas Island.
Wasnt there one a few years back that made it right down the QLD coast or northern NSW Coast?
Even the one that turned up right in Darwin suburb of Fannie Bay(2010) and they just waited on the land for the Police to come get them was a bit of a suprise i reckon.
Ok, these guys made it ( pretty good plannign for 40 days at sea eh?) so the authorities will deal them the golden handshake courtesy of greenies and ambivalant Australians who have no idea that their country is changeing by stealth; but what must happen is sink the boat. Sink all the boats that make it to our shores - good for the seabed ( first remove all oils/fuel/toxic substances) and even though some may argue the cae I doubt it would spawn a booming boatbuilding industry in the land of exit it would be a bold message.
A few illegal boats have been used to make artificial reefs of Darwin, though yes alot are also burnt. I was told that they only burn if there is a quarantine issue, or its to difficult to clean them up for sinking, or there isnt any funding to clean/sink them.
The Fenton Patches i think has a few sunken Indo boats. Though i dont think the wooden hulls last to long as artificial reefs. Plus the problem for the Fenton Patches is its now in waters controlled Federally, and apparently putting artificial reefs in Federal Waters is quiet 'Onerous' with their laws, hence why the two in Geo Bay are in State waters.

Border security at its best. That new stealth cloaking technology the smugglers are using must be bloody good.

Haha gold. Instead of whale watching platforms, local tourism could start making asylum seeker platforms
