I fish out of Albany and we've ony yet managed a few KG - non SUPA kidney slappers yet. Mind you, they've only been by-catches - I've promised my wife that we'll be doing some serious dedicated KG hunting soon.

You just don't forget the first time you (easily) pull a piece of nicely and lightly cooked KG off the bone.

Yum!

Dont go out too deep chasing

Dont go out too deep chasing the KG Colin, we find most of them in water less than 10m and comparatively close to shore and island structure.

Yeah, like I said, we haven't done much serious KG targetting mate - will probably target KG sound next time conditions are average! Any other pointers would be appreciated - PM me if you wish.
