Gday knackers,
I've been struggling to get into some squid for the past couple years and haven't caught one probably since 2006 and I've been trying so much everytime I go fishing from the stones. I work my squid jigs close to the weed and don't even get a touch or follow, I use small jigs and still nothing. I atleast fish for Squid for about an hour before I fish for fish. My squid jigs are the old Razorbacks in Pinks, Orange and others. What the hell am I doing wrong?
1- What could I do to break the drought?
2- What's you're recommendations on Squid Jigs?
3- Actions to use on Squid Jigs?
Cheers fella's, well appreciated.

More $$ = MOre Squid
Best trial I can give you on this. We spent a week in the Montes on a houseboat witha big flood light out the back. There was a light outfit there with a very cheap jig on it. If the squid had one go it would not come back if you missed it first up. I had two good Jap jigs both probably a little bit bigger than ideal but very good quality. I could literally just leave them hanging in the water and the squid would get them, The big diff is that they float level, whereas your cheaper ones drop inthe arse.Cheap ones still catch squid, but IMO the rate is about 5:1 in favour of the dearer ones. ALso use very light mono, or light braid with a flurocarbon leader if it is really clear water.

Are you talking about the
Are you talking about the rock wall under/next to the road that leads to garden island?
I have fished the other side of the rock wall (on the fishing club boat ramp) a few times with no luck. I would of thought it would hold alot of squid and fish because of the channel that runs between the rock wall/road and the boat ramp... but nothing yet
