hi guys
im looking at buying some ballooning gear that i can use at places like steep point and quobba. as i have never done it before i wont be spending huge $ to start. i do have a few hundred so am looking for some advice as for what direction i should head as far as a reel is concerned for makes/models.
cheers

Do you prefer spin reels or overheads

Go see jim head, good cheap rods and reels...
My choice would be a TLD25 reel and a rod off Jim 93493715

If that's the case then a nice Penn overhead or the TLD25
as marc suggested would be a good option. Plenty of line capacity and it would be easier for feeding out a balooned line.
