Hey guys I m taking the kids for a fish this weekend anyone know where the big bull herring are being caught

I caught a couple of real big ones at Pinaroo Point
a few weeks back.

Was swimming at Leonards
Was swimming at Leonards Beach on Sunday and there was a massive school of big bull herring right in the surf zone under the body boarders. School was that big i though it might have been small salmon when i saw it. But no just alot of big fat herring. Was at lunch time too only about 30m off the beach.

We just hit the beach
We just hit the beach tonight ,for a couple of hours got 15 herring all good size and a heap of whiting.got most of the fish on gulp strips ,even the whiting were into it .
