Small reef

There is an extention of the 5 fathom bank that runs past Mandurah. If you can get the co-ordinates for the James Service Wreck, there is some good ground around there, otherwise Mandurah is reknowned for the wide open spaces of flat featurless ground and you have to go a fair way offshore to get into some good quality lumps.

South of Dawesville around the south bouvard reef system is probably better than straight out of Mandurah. Fished it a few times and caught a few KG's out there.

Good luck.

If you don't want to go to

If you don't want to go to wide the 25 to 30 metre line South of the cut can produce fish. You need a very good sounder.... very low small ledges less then a meter high in small groups or circles. About 8 NM south west of the cut is the place to start. When the crays move back into that depth, spend a day and a tank of fuel and look for isolated pro cray pots and mark some spots for the future. You can go wider and fish the 19 fathom.
