Doesn't matter what colour your wetsuit is - or what colour your shark-shield is for that matter!
Still a 4mtr'ish Gt White or two in the Sound feasting on schools of pinks, they've even (sharks) been sniffing around in the shallows at the Cockburn ramps on rare occasions.
The pinks will hang around for quite a while most probably, the sharks will likely do the same.
Last year there was a 3mtr'ish White hanging in the Sound until at least late January. There was a 4.5mtr'ish White cruising Parmelia bank with the snorkelers this year through Feb, no one got bit, don't know how come.
Will definitely be wearing my shield while crabbing this season!! Never used to.
Yep, agree with Peter and i'm seeing one regular 4m G-white every trip out recently in the Sound. He's routenal and in shallow water also so heads up, roll on the Swan & Sound crabs!
we always are getting reports of whites around pengo and GI going after abs you are in the open water for 30 sec thats just the swim from boat to reef and back diving for crabs you might be an hour i might just tow some mates around ha ha or nets

welding glove
Dont bother with welding gloves, they slow your movements down too much. Just your standard dive gloves are much faster.
