busy fishing jetski style

gday guys ,am new to this style of fishing an lovin it . am in jurien . just wondering how far out everyone goes and what safety gear you guys carry . i have 2way , epirb , off shore flare kit , type 1 life jacket and one of those one shot battery jumper kits ( have a wife who insists on wanting me to come home ). have bin fishing in 38 mtrs , bout 9 mile out . on a nice day dosnt take long to get out there . so anyway just curious really what it is you all do.

Wouldn't be telling too many people you go 9 mile out when your
limit on a ski is only 5nm from land or closest island provided that island is not more than 5 nm from the coast.. Unless your ski is over 3.4meters in length from memory. And unfortunately those gtx's are not that long....

yer if your ski is under 3.75m you cant go more than 5km from shore- limit for all water vessels
