Bunbury Fishing

Can anybody help me out with some info, fishing out of bunbury over new years for two days. Never fished down there before and would like to get a feed for the people we are staying with. Any help would be great, I have a 5m center console and dont mind heading offshore. Cheers

The news down here is they're get'n Dhuies and Pinkies in close 10-20 metres try straight out west where the ships are moored or if its a flat sea go out to 30 metres its apparently going off,I'm going out 2mora so I'll let you know how we go we're planning on going exploring new ground around 30 plus metres.

to binningup which is not far north of bunbury.

the 20m line is awlays worth a try and just move north from the tankers as Big Kev says.

Mark at Gotone puts out regular reports and you can go online on their website.

Nice day on the water today light SE winds drift was perfect my mate got the 2 memorable fish a nice Pinkie and Dhuie both around 12kg mark sorry no pic gotta figure out how to send it from my phone to PC. Both fish caught in the same area. On our way in we stopped off at my Whiting patch and got a dozen each all around 30cm not bad for Sand Whiting, and we're having some for tea tonight.

Cheers Kev

PM me just before you come down and I'll give you some up to date info.

Also might pay to catch up with Mark at Got One Tackle as he does the local write up and can give you the jist on whats happening.

Alternatively... the bribe for good GPS locations is a Penthouse looking women and a bottle of Scotch! Ha! Ha!
