Ammo jetty pylons removed

 Anyone know why the old pylons to the south if ammo jetty were removed?

Ammo Jetty

The pylons to the south of the ammunition jetty have never been used as far as I recall. They become a shipping hazard when not maintained.
I used to work at the jetty and believe they were only installed for inclement weather to assist with berthing
