I usually use FL x FL X GIRTH x 2.7 / 100000 which I got from one of the Nomad guides who used it alot over in Mozambique and Oman.

I didn't use the forumula on this fish though because I didn't take a measurement of girth.

average rule of thumb from what we have found on the pilbara GT's

100cm fork length is approx 20kg's
104/105cm fork length is approx 25
108-110 fork approx 30kg's

i think about the only ones i would have over him are

jack, trout, bluebone, perhaps red and rankin

he has the prestigous ones like barra,GT and thready
