Snapper on the KG gear

830 mm snapper on the KG gear. Poor little 1/0's hung in there.

Bodie, myself, and bodies neighbour hit the water yesterday arvo also. Boated 5 pinks between the 3 of us and that was plenty for what we needed. Sizes ranged from 55 to about 75cm. Cooked some up fresh tonight with any hint of red flesh removed (they were pretty clean anyway because they were bled straight away). Cooked it in a beer batter, bloody beautiful. Forgot how good fresh pinkie can be. I reckon it's one of those fish though, frozen it's rubbish.

Had the olds over over for dinner and there was barely a scrap of fish left.

Good to see solid numbers of pinkies around also, reasonable dhuies and blackarse in particular have been rather elusive of late though.
