At a mates dams in Victoria mate, been fishing them for about 10yrs and they never let me down. This one is about an average size, caught alot bigger over the years. Very lucky to have access to such quality reddy fishing..
Yeh they are a great little sport fish for rivers and dams. Over here In W.A me and a few mates have kayaks and fish the Southern Fresh water rivers for them. Always great fight on light gear especially how aggressive they are. That would be a decent size over here. We do a light beer batter with them taste great with chips and a few scotches.

NICE redfin mate , what location was this one caught in. Looks a real good size. They are not to bad on the chew aye.

Definitely my favourite fresh
Definitely my favourite fresh water fish to eat! Great looking and fighting as well, cant beat em in the fresh!
