You're right Matt
It probably sounds silly, but in the past, because they 'don't look nice' and we've been preoccupied targetting queens, reds and pinks, we just released them.
We had the one I kept last night, Sandra skinned it, stuffed it and cooked it whole and it was delicisious! Very sweet firm flesh and (from what Sandra said) extremely easy to skin.
We'll me keeping some more for sure!
Yeah, was fantastic to finally get out again. We would have stayed longer, but someone got seasick

Leatherjackets are great to eat
They charge big bucks on the east coast for them. I wouldn't mind a few decent sized ones myself Colin.

Colin - I'd believe it
We were using 7/0 Gammy circles and I had a hell of a job getting the hooks out because they kept biting down on them. Biting force better than a stong handed pair of pliers I reckon.
