Sharks
How were the sharks up at Garths? Was up there in November and got hammered by them, lost 2 out of 3 fish to them. Looks a bit wet as well.

spun me out aswell when i first saw it. This got sharked shortly afterwards. Iceman, we were there the week before you i believe. 9/10 fish were sharked.

You should try one of the
You should try one of the large mako nets, heaps better than gaffs and you can release fish if you like.
The sharks are just rediculous there now.

tangles
we took a net but it kept getting tangle with the hooks when we using hardbody lures. nearly lost a good Cobia, luckily the hook held.
Only good with single hook lures.

we had a net Ruste, but with a 25 knot+ wind, it was near on impossible to net or gaff anything. Iceman, between 3 people, we lost at least 10 cobia. Not one landed. Guys next to us had better luck tho, some very nice specimens.
