Hapuka Sushi

Hapuka Sushi

Chunky Hapuka sushi - thanks Till, went down a treat!

Took the pic, went to put the camera down and returned to the table to see only a quarter of the plate left and 3 smiling faces looking at me!  Next time I eat my share while slicing!

Ahh thats not exactly the crosscultural approach to sushi I was alluding to.

but isnt the fish prepared that way Sashimi rather thn sushi. I think the correct definition is if it is eaten raw by itself with suice its Sashimi, with rice whether in a roll or just placed on rice its Sushi.

Not trying to be critical just ponting out a common misconception.

Yeh sorry Alfred

For some reason I just get annoyed that people use the term Sushi (which everyone and their dog is into because its trendy) with true Sashimi, which IMO is for true lovers of fresh seafood.

Cheers Mate, no offense intended.
