This bad arse sambo chased a shad from Big Johns as it eas being cranked up out of the way. We also caught a cobia, a nice mack, amberjack, longtail tuna, released and lots of catfish and the shsrks weren't much fun

Catfish taste
I have only tried eating catfish once and swore never to try it again, now having said that the one I tried was caught from a fresh water lagoon.
Has anyone eaten one that has come from the ocean, what I'm wondering is if there is a big difference in taste.
Like fresh water Barra as against salt water Barra, to me it's like chalk and cheese.

Silver cobbler from lake argyle is top notch, have eaten catties from the salt, not the best and definetely not the worst!

The 4 oz shads are killing it
