Good day out for the innaugural Fishwrecked Young Guns versus Old Farts Tailor Tournament
The competitors for the innaugural Fishwrecked Young Guns versus Old Farts Tailor Tournament turned out at a secret location north of Perth this mornning to strut their stuff.
While the tailor were a bit patchy and not of the 60 cm plus size we had hoped for, it was a pretty successful morning, with Team Crony James (Flangies) and Rueben (Schecky), landing some great fish (including a PB 52 cm tailor for James and a 60 cm plus Pike/Snook for Rueben)on poppers and light rods.
Not to be out done, the Old Farts' stars of Vince (Uncut Trigger) and Sherbs landed some really solid greenbacks on poppers as well -with Vince stealing the show with 4 great fish.
In a light hearted competition, the winner was fishing and getting away from everythiing with some good people.

A great morning fishing
Lots of drop fish, But good to see some of them fish getaway from us
I had one tailor smash my Richter plug twice into the air, And then jump and take it while it was in the air
And the two young guys walking up the beach 100meters or more And coming back with a handfull of fish

Looks like it was a great weekend for fishing up and down the coast. A couple of very nice tailor in there and good to see you all getting amongst them, I must agree with Wade though, it does look rather cold down there.
