auto trim

Mate i use Rex from Auto trim in Osborne park, when i made up my dinghy i went abit thicker and made 100mm flaps that sat along the front and rear edge of the seat area and installed press studs to allow easy removal, velcro will fail after grime build up and one day they will fly out when on the road

press studs

Mon, 2009-10-26 16:52

Ours was secured by these, but they have a nasty habit of corroding out at the rivet, Im not sure if this is some sort of electrolysis between the press stud/rivet/ali.  Not sure what others think, but I was thinking of some sort of strapping sewn into the bottom that goes round the seat to a buckle.  Just undo and remove for cleaning.

Any other Ideas?
