Mine (male Kelpie cross from the dogs refuge) used to jump up in my 4x4 ute as soon as he saw me loading any fishing or camping gear. Even if he wasn't coming (which was rare) I had to leave him until the last minute and pack gear around him, because if I hauled him out, he just got straight back in again. And you should have seen him sulk if he actually got left behind! He lived to 16 1/2 and then we had to be put down due to a suspected brain tumour. Been 18mths without one as he was a hard act to follow, but the kids are agitating for a new one, so off to the refuge again soon.........

Give a man a mask, and he'll show you his true face...
The older you get the more you realize that no one has a f++king clue what they're doing.
Everyone's just winging it.
