how many knots was the wind gusts during cyclone clare?
Just did a quick internet search:
Highest recorded sustained winds speeds were 131 km/h (71 knots) at Legendre Island and wind gusts to 142 km/h at Karratha.
Feels like were getting about 80 down here at the moment in front of this storm, just went down the beach and could hardly stand up!

Heard about a tornado they had down south on the news tonight. Didn't sound good!

what a mess that created, boats distroyed, houses missing roof's and walls, i heard on the radio that a toyota corrolla was pushed 15mt by the winds.
also the news refered to the coast line as a bit of a tornado alley, hopefully we dont see a f5 heading this way anytime soon!!!
