Yeagarup Salmon
Submitted by Bluetonic on Mon, 2009-03-23 04:53
Fished Yeagarup on the weekend. Fished hard all day Saturday for no result apart from Herring. Talked to other people on the beach and no one caught Salmon. Sunday was different with most catching fish up to about 9.30am. All Salmon kept were not wasted.

Salmon
Thanks for the report BJ, Geez we were tossing up wether to go down there or take the boat out and decided on the boat as we thought the chance of a Salmon would be slim. Good stuff mate we may head down on my next break. Next time your going down to Yeags lets know and we'll team up.
Cheers Kev

Top work Bluetonic
We didn't see a salmon at Windy Harbour. Caught a nice tailor, a few stingrays, a redfin, some whiting and a heap of herring between us. Will put up pics and report soon.

Nice
Kitted out nicely mate, looks like it brought you some luck too. I do miss the southern salmon run, but the spaniard run does make up for it to some degree. ;)

The conditions made it
The conditions made it difficult to fish lures big john, and we only managed to catch the tail end of the bite. All were caught on Mulies. We fished late into Saturday night bluebagger for no results at all.
