Where to troll for pelagics?

Hey all, looking at heading out for a troll tomorrow and not sure where to head whether its out of hilarys or back of freo and 5 fathoms.

I trolled this arvo from hillaries to past mindarie and back without any hits(apart from a rat sambo that got my hopes up for a minute), seen a few other boats doing the same without any luck either from what i could see. Only seen 1 small bait school on the sounder the whole time and no surface action. Yep plenty of weed to contend with aswell. The water was nice and warm tho around 24*
They are there tho, just gotta put the time in. Or find the bait schools ;) goodluck

I was there yesterday
maybe too soon after the full moon,I was getting 25 degrees at one stage,yeah no bait schools but youre right their there[just didn't look fishy], crewie had a shocker yesterday,his rod took a big bite on the pick and went for a deep swim,then He tells me his drink has spilt in his ice box, then pulls out a drowned lurmix camera,bugger. thats why we keep going back

We trolled the back of the FF bank this morning, not too much weed. There seemed to be a lot of weed a couple of km west of the the bank, but not much in the closer.
Didn't get a strike mind you
