Hey Guys,
Going to Coral Bay Mid Year trying to get some decent lures together for marlin and sailfish. Any recommendations???? Also am I better rigging them myself or buying complete unit??
Also looking for a small pair of outriggers, for 21ft boat. Found some in QLD .....are there any local ones (WA) available.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Black Bart Have a good range
Black Bart Have a good range of pushers...for sailys n small marlin something around the 8'' size...cairns prowler or 1656 mini angle are very productive lures
IMO, i tend to like the Head on the barts over the Pakula (aka Zacattack) range, simply because of the bigger scoops in them and more jet holes in them
Richter Soft Grassy's in Pink n White or the Black n Purple seem to be really good
Richter Oscar Juniors are really good aswell
Can't beet switch baiting with Gars or Trolls gars..either or is good!
IMO, i would rig them myself..but the best premade rig i have seen on the market would have to be the Black Bart or Richter Pre-made rigs...They have SS mustad games hooks..if buying premade then file some more cutting points into the hook to ensure a good hook up!
As for outriggers, we had 11ft or 16ft sets at work but for your boat you would be looking around the 11ft mark fully rigged, with reelax bases etc..
cheers

Mate did a trip overseas in
Mate did a trip overseas in January and most of the skirts that I used were either Richter prerigged or Williamson that I rigged myself, would agree with Sam that the black bart are very good, but for value for money the others did fine and had no problem catching fish with them, colours that was advised were black and purple, tplus the black magic pilchard or super chugger no 17,Hard bodied lures were halco 190 laser pro's Bluewatrer classic200mm these were dynamite,I have used the Reelax outriggers and they are very well made as are the bases,Bouttime used them on his boat and I dont believe he has had any drama's with his either,I know his were bought from Bluewater in Melvile but they should be available at other stores as well best of luck with your trip
Live to fish

Richter!
The Richter pushers represent the best value with awesome handmade quality. Whilst there's other great brands like Pakula and Blackbart there very exxy imo especially when you need to take a few of different model & colours. So with all said, my personal range has moved over to the Richter brand.
We have all our Richter lures pre rigged correctly by us and we sell 16ft outrigger poles by themselves or fully rigged!
PM me for me info if required!
