time to change my solo fishing ways....

well a little about me i suppose.

footy, cricket, golf, rugby ( both forms ), camping, FISHING ( not a tackle junkie ), beer, also like to run the forbie into new grounds beach fishing and 4wdriving in general.

i am a SUNDAY fisherman with the odd chance of the occasional SAT and every second MON ( baby sitter availability ).

the dog is a part of my boat otherwise she sulks for days after i go with out her.

i dont mind short trips or long trips. today i left the marina at 5am returned at 11am, i have no problems with an all dayer and into the evening.

my boat is a 5.5m raider tournament plate ali with a 90hp suzi dual bats. my electrics are up to scratch and i have enough fishing gear for me only. trolling, bottom bash. no problems with sports on the radio while i fish.

i try to fish with my fifo mate when he is home so this arrangement will be dependent on the weather and or his availability, more often then not iam SOLO so plenty of oppurtunitys to get out.

i am confident in my ability but welcome any advice

YOU

on time, call if a problem, your own tackle, prefer two rocks/mindarie (a little flexible if you no good ground), everything else i mentioned or most of  . NO SHOWS ARE REAL BAD

i am also up to a boat tagging along or I tagging on with you. willing to join in with deep drop lads on there boat. i dont ping so no worries in that department and as far as iam concerned the ocean is mine and yours just give me a little space ill be happy.

throw me a message and we can chat

seem like a long list but after a couple of bad trips one gets wary.

my moto is try it once and see how it goes

cheers

GILLYL

Know how you feel gillyL

Always seem to come home early when by yourself
& never seem to go as far. Would have been nice out today
apart from the breeze coming in earlier than forcasted

Hey mate, are you looking for

Wed, 2015-04-08 08:24

Hey mate, are you looking for someone available for the odd trip or something a little more consistant and are you interested in someone with fairly limited experience? I got a 3m dinghy last year so I try to get out on that as much as possible with my 5y old, brother or just solo in the Swan/Peel inlet.

I am however looking buy a bigger boat in the next year or so and wouldn't mind heading out occasionally with an experienced skipper to learn the ropes a bit more before I start heading out on mine. I've been out on dinghies a few times just off Dunsborough and and also spend a day bottom bouncing Naturaliste Reef and areas around there and to date have never suffered sea sickness.
