email jen or matt at bluewater and join exmouth game club then buy some billfish foundation tags from the club.i'm sure the club would appreciate the support.
that or get some n.s.w gamefish tagging program tags from a perth game club or over east.not many options apart from clean release.
dont like the idea of having to join a game club just for a weeks trip to put a couple of tags into a few fish, might have to ring PGFC or maybe an eastern states club to obtain a few NSW ones or unless smeones got a few spares floating around, ive only ever used the NSW ones anyway for the billies we tagged over in Bermagui
theres heaps of benefits to joining a game club besides getting hold of some free tags.
i doubt perth game just give them out willy nilly as well, they never used to when i was a member.give it a try,you never know.the nsw billfish tags have changed since you were at bermi as well i reckon, might pay to check that you have the right applicator.
i got 2 applicators so one should fit, have tagged numerous marlin as well so not a newy to it, i know these days they make it hard for people to do it, doesnt make alot of sence to me, the more tags in fish being released goes to more research.
As in benifits yes i agree, only thing is we going in less than 2 weeks so might be an issue joining up possibly

However many you get, I hope you run out of them
