Swan River Pinkies

Went for a flick with the kids last night in the Swan River at East Freo.  Caught about 15 baby pinkies. All about 15 20cm.

These normal in the Swan? What's the likelyhood of mum and dad being around?

Quite normal, along with sambos, king george whiting, squid and other ocean species. You'll get decent ones in certain spots but I think it would be hard to find any legal/big ones.

Yes legal ones can occasionally be caught in the river, but like any big fish it takes a fair effort and time to find one.
