PB Queen snapper from last trip

Hi all just wanting to have a bit of a brag ha ha. Pulled this big fella up from 90m NW of two rocks. Fought like a train all the way to the top. Thought it was a shark when first felt him. Went 86cm on the mat, didnt get a weight, got two big fat fillet slabs off it. Had a quick look online their max size is 98cm. Have got a few in the past but nothing close to this size cheers boys! brag over

Gotta be happy with any demersal that size, and yeah they start to put up a good fight at that size well done.

Nice pb . You don't see too many around that size. And yeah they fight well , have you guessing all the way up . Used to get a few out of Rocko in the 70 to 90 mtrs range

Coral Lumps
Great fish and good eating. A lot of people cut the brown stripe off its shoulder but I don't bother as it makes no difference to their eating quality
Get a lot of them SW of the Coral Lumps 10nm NW of Cape Naturaliste, lot of broken bottom right out to nwhere it starts to drop off
