Solved my dingy motor problem

I had an issue with my little Stessco catcher being a wee bit under powered. Here's my solution. Sell it and get a bigger boat.

Well that's a good solution! Nice and manageable with a decent sized motor.

I reckon Dave, considering I have a 540 coastrunner with a 90 Suz that's certainly not underpowered, this thing should get up and hop.

They guy I got it from is leaving the island. It came fully loaded with all manners of stuff, a complete ready to rumble setup. Marlin teasers over 70 assorted lures, spares, icy tek esky, Mackie bag, gaffs, nets, spearguns, diving gear, gidgies and the list goes on. Spent yesterday and today unloading the boat, sifting through everything and detailing her. Finished off this arvo with a reload of all the stuff I want onboard. The weathers been shit and I'm hoping to hit the water tomorrow to go and try out some of the marks on the gps. Happy days!.

Nice boat but not a fan of the Otimax. Don't know if it relates to your model but google Optimax compressor bearings. I had them go twice on me with no warning on the old donk. Very common problem with some Optimax models. Apparently you can check the bearing somehow to see if its on its way out. Could save a rescue and an expensive fix.

Did some research and it's early 2000 models that had the dicky compressor bearing ( units made in Mexico ) mine is a 2012 model with the US built compressor. Ran it for four hours non stop today and she didn't miss a beat.
