From my understanding it needs up grading and the costs to do so are way up there. As it's a privately funded sites not a big company one it wouldn't be economically viable

If the upgrades are like what LCOOL site needed it was prohibitive and they couldn't keep all the years worth of infomation that had been gathered. Unfortunately I can see this site going the same way as the tecnology has made it hard to change or upgrade.
Its a bit slow and primitive, but I love it! Thanks to all who are involved in keeping it going and thanks to all who have contributed over its history. Ive learnt tonnes and im still learning tonnes.

We have been a member on fishwrecked since 2008. Plenty of info shared and times enjoyed. I keep using the sites to see what's going on in the fishing community. Not a Facebook fan and for someone like me that is tech disadvantaged it suits me. Yeah a bit slow sometimes to log on but once on its a lot better.
