Scrap metal sellers

Does anyone know of any places in Perth - preferably north of the river - where you can buy scrap metal? I am after items such as brass and copper rods and sheets of lead.
Many thanks, Colin Hay

Theres a scrap metal place on Frobisher road in Osborne Park, but i'm not sure how good it is or how much stuff they have (or they may be a distribution hub/dropoff point)

You should still be able to
You should still be able to buy whole lead roll sheets at bunnings though?

I only need one or maybe two rods, depending on how long they
are. I want to slice them up and make metal lures - something like a twisty.

Hi Wade I am thinking of making some jigs with it
and some sinkers. I used to always use cut up pieces of lead sheeting as a weight for fishing when I was younger. I found it ideal for putting just the right amount of weight on a line.
If youcan get some I would be happy to buy some.

Yeah any steel retailers
Yeah any steel retailers should stock it.. stirlings as an example, you can get defferant grades of stainless and vary in price tho should be cheeper than buying brass or copper.
base your shape on the bumpabar design is the easiest then give it a polish with some autosol so its nice and shiny.
