rod and reel advice needed

hey guys,
im looking at getting a new outfit for flicking soft plastics and lightly weighted baits in 20-40m of water. i will be using it to target pink snapper, harlies, baldies, etc. i was thinking of maybe a Penn Slammer 560L. has anyone had any experience with this reel? also, what rod would go well with it? im looking for something that has enough grunt to pull a demersal out of its cave but also have enough feel to cast soft plastics. i would probably spool it with 15-20kg braid.
thanks in advance.

i have a daiwa advantage
i have a daiwa advantage 10-20LB awesome all round rod, i have a stradic 4000Fa on it with 30lb braid. Plenty of oomph but delicate enough for the plackies

20kg Braid is pointless
If you are serious then I would say 20lb(6kg) braid would be a starting point for softies. I have a second hand twinpower 4000 that is spooled with 20lb that you can have for $200 if you want - it is my spare reel in the boat and has caught tuna to 10kg and a dhuie that was 8kg so can put out a bit of power.
Rod wise probably the starlostix by shimano is a good start. You want something around the 7ft mark so either that or a tcurve tournament would be very nice. Pflueger also make some very nice stuff but probably a bit out of your budget. Fishing softies well = expensive rods. You need to be able to "feel" what the lure is doing so a glass rod like the old ugly sticks just do not have the sensitivity.
Have a look at my latest pic of a 38lb sambo to show what you can achieve on light gear.
