Fishing

The fishing is good and the big bluebone are much more accessible with less risk of getting washed off the rocks. You will still get your mackerel, but the run probably won't be as good as earlier in the year. They were on fire late July this year with most balloners doing very well on 20kg+ macks consistenly.

If you can deal with the heat and the flies you will do well on the fish if you put in the time.

Early Dec full moon

If you can time a trip around the late november / early december full moon you stand a good chance of coming across the annual shark mackerel run. Great land based spinning when it all comes together.
