As a general rule of thumb.

As a general rule of thumb. One 75kg person per lineal meter in calm waters.

so in your case 5.75 X 75 = approx 430 kgs.

Remember on the river some big boat will go past and many boats have been rolled before by the wake.

Me, personally, on your boat, 4 adults and 4 kids may be a bit much.

Doable, but just I reckon. Best to play safe - especially with other peoples kids I reckon.

Good luck with the land based action mate!
