Perth to Exmouth in a Trailer boat?
Submitted by BQ544 on Fri, 2008-08-15 20:40
Looking to do Perth to Exmouth in a trailable boat in April. Has anyone else done this trip? Just looking for suggestions or comments.
I think we would go two rocks to Jurien, Jurien to Geraldton, Geraldton to Kalbarri, Kalbarri to sharkbay, sharkbay to carnovan, Carnovan to Coral bay, coral bay to Exmouth. Spend a week in exmouth and then trailer the boat home.
Boat will be a 26 footer.
thanks for any help

I think the last person to do that trip in a small boat was Matthew Flinders.
Be careful with the weather on the Kalbarri to shark bay leg because if anything goes wrong there you have nowhere to hide. Non stop cliffs all the way and the nearest help is many hours away
