whether I love it or hate it. Because I soooo miss those trips out of Dampier and it just reminds me of it.

Dans video of the Ningaloo campout gets the award for production values--use of the drone is great.  I have a real bad language problem when things get heated, cure that and I wouldn't have to delete so much audio  It was really hard to get the initial billfish action on video when only fishing two people, especially when the bloke driving is the one with the  gopro on his head. Have to make a rule that the bloke on strike has the  Gopro on his head, and hits the one button start at the first strike. or the third gopro on the rocket launcher. As anyone who has caught any kind of billies knows, what happens immediately on hookup is almost always the best action. It was no coincidence that the best action we ever got was the year there were three of us, with two Gopros. Most of the stuff we got this year was on either distant or tired fish. But we caught them, which is what matters, mum got her bucket list marlin, a 40 kg black that did all the right things, and we widened our horizons and learnt a lot.

Bring on next year, and remember, the Save Ningaloo Station fighting fund is still alive, as is the fight to keep it.
