But Johns Motor Trimmers (JMT) in Welshpool are absolute legends. They've done 3 of my boats, and they've all been above expectations when complete. Always well priced as well, use top end products, and are all just great blokes.
I didn't want to post anything negative as ruining people's business via online posts and reviews is not my normal MO, but my experience was exactly the same. Took me weeks and numersous phone calls just to get a quote. After I confirmed I was good with the price I asked when they could fit me in, was told they would let me know via email and the email never came. I figure either they're too busy or my job was just too small to be worth their while, either way it gave me enough motiviation to take my business elsewhere. Boat in getting new clears and canopy at the moment.
The ship might have sailed on your bimini KelvinJr but I thought I'd put in a belated personal recommendation for Jordan at Marine Trimemrs WA in Osborne Park. Jordan just replaced the clears and bimini on my NorthShore, I picked up the boat yesterday and have to say Jordan did a bloody good job and I am very happy with the finished product.
I contacted a few trimmers some of whom (eg John's) required multiple phone calls just to get a quote. Jordan was very responsive with a quote which turned out to be middle of the road (not the cheapest but definitely nowhere near the most expenive). He gave me different price point & quality options (rollclear vs sheetclear) so in the end it was my decision whether I wanted to spend a little more for a better quality product. And he was very good at communicating with me when it came to actually doing the job.
I previouly had my clears replaced by John's but they didn't last as long as I had expected. I guess it remains to be seen how the new ones go over time but from what I've seen so far I wouldn't have any hesitation recommending Jordan to others.

Never use Johns, they never turned up to the moored boat for quotes mnay times, and when they did, the final product was not to my liking.
