Mark La Cras Fishing Reports

I caught the tail end of Mark's fishing reports on channel 9... he mentioned sand whiting at City Beach. Does anyone know more specifics on the whereabouts at City Beach to find them? If there's a marker to head for?

Thanks guys.

You just need to find the big sand patches out there Jerry, that's all we do. And the deeper the water the bigger the Whiting. Saying that we only fish in about 5-8m and have been getting some thumpers.

There is sand whiting at every beach atm, we killed it at yanchep the other day few mates killed it at Quinn's. If you go city beach we normally go past the groyne (heading towards freo ) and pull into the first parking bay then walk down from there. Get some hooters down there but ive noticed the past few sessions they are on the chew really early and shut down by 7am. Hope you get into some of the tasty buggers. My bad im guessing your  not landbased tho.

Try just behind the 20m

Try just behind the 20m contour line off the back of the 3 Mile. Some nice ones around there and in with a chance of some KGs too
