Landbased help please

Hi all,
As the seasonal shifting sands have filled up my favourite fishing hole at Trigg, I have been searching elsewhere for a summer landbased spot. I have spent hours on the beach from City Beach to Scarborough with no luck. I'm not asking for anyone secret spots, but can anyone please help me out a bit?

Ever tried the river? Seems to be a good summer for the swan this season. Plenty of black bream, flathead, tailor, tarwine and whos knows maybe a mulloway or pink snapper
kill it??? eat it!!!!

Sounds alright
River sounds alright, give the light gear a go. Any tips on baits/lures and areas worth a look? PM if you wanna keep it on the downlow :)
