Landbased fishos- Where are you going to be?

For all of you landbased fishos out there, where will you be within the next couple of weeks and what will you be targetting?

I for one plan to seriously get stuck into some spring tailor then start my season on the croakers.

Will be hitting the metro beaches quite a bit over the next week or so for some afternoon sessions hoping to crack that 2kg mark,

Where will you be?

All depends on the wind.

I will be chasing tailor off the rocks on the side the wind isn't going to throw my mulie back in my face!

Has Perth got more windy, or is it just me?

Tailor

Thu, 2009-10-15 14:58

I am not 100% on this one; however, I have been told the slot limit, or max size limit for Tailor has changed from 600 to 500so now only 2 fish over 500. Just check it before you head out, as it would have began today with the demersal closure and intro of the new bag limits.

Good luck

I was thinking of heading to Preston Beach for an evening fish on Sat - possibly even head to Wilbinga / Flatrocks. I have sleved the boat for a while seeing the bans are in place, give me a good chance to do maintenance.

I havent check the weather yet... what are the winds going to be like?
