Should he have been sacked???? i have never been the politically correct type of bloke so imo the comments he made regarding Jules husband being a fruit were perfectly fine by me, especially if that was a rumour going around. its only natural he would ask... i dunno i like Sadler. sad to see him go.

I actually blame the station for keeping him on air for this long. The bloke is ill (has parkinsons) and can't talk properly anyway. They set him up to fall, no excuse for embarrassing questions like that though, and you are right Till the menu thing is an utter disgrace. I don't care what the fuck anyone thinks she is a woman and the PM so deserves respect. Her policies are another matter that can be lambasted publicly but keep the personal crap out... yuck!

Australian media has been a disgrace for some years now.
What other country in the world would put up with that questioning crap to a prime minister/president?
The medias inability to present anything of worth these last 10 years is sending Australia backward.
I have no liking for Labour (thanks for raising the retirement age to 67 you shits), but we need decent and creditable media so serious country changing policies can be discussed with thoughtfulness and intellect. We need reporters and presenters to analyse policy, stand up politicians when they are bullshiting us and lead sensible discussion. Perhaps we may have had a more sensible outcome to the marine park wank that we got shafted with.
We are all better off with the likes of Howard Sattler out of the public view.
Its time to wise up and demand more from our media space.

I've listened to him and
I've listened to him and Maumill since I was 14 in my old mans workshop .. they made that station what it is today being outspoken , controversial , forthright and as sharp as a tack .. love him or hate him thats the nature of the beast for a talkback host .. and what he was paid to do , however in light of his decline in health the station should have given him a more light hearted timeslot rather than tackle the big interviews .. it was a bizarre line of questioning and yes he needed to be pulled up .. sad to see him go this way though , as he has done alot for the community and helped alot of people in need over the years .

Sattler has been living on a knifes edge as far as his radio presentations go for years and this one has well and truly done the job to get himself sacked.---no doubt with a big severance package.
He won't be missed.

A few I can recall. If and I say if the menu was a joke between father and son so be it, it was a joke. I personally have seen much worst than that. If it was presented then it is in the public domian via a Liberal Party function then it wouldnt be considered flash IMO.

Sattler what a man of our times
He is the epitome of diarrhea.
His total lack of respect to a woman (or man) and a the leader of our country is nothing short of astounding.
To use the word journalist in the same sentence with his name is to align a brain surgeon with a PNG head hunter.
A better association with Sattler is Bali Belly both produce the same thing and the same applies to most of the current lot who spew forth their diatribe in our daily papers and call it news.

I think he's been on the way out (professionally) for a while. I always notice how he disrespects his callers by cutting them off and not letting them give their full point of view. As for the PM, anyone with any integrity could see that that level of disrespect for the leader of our country is disgraceful - regardless of how pathetic a leader she is. The collective media in Australia will go to all lengths to get any story/headline and this is a symptom of that. No ethics, no morals, just get as close to the line of unacceptable as you can without getting into trouble and you'll get the best headline you can. He went well past it. I'm all for a radio host calling it how it is and not putting up with any crap but I'm glad he's gone - he abused the privilege he had!!

don't care who you vote for but please lets have some respect for the PM, Sattler was so wrong and I'm glad he is sacked. I never listened to the silly old man either.
Sattler had the PM there to ask some good questions about our future etc but what does he do, gutter journalism at its best.
