Silstars make
some nice rods. What about a 6ft 6in 10 to 15kg silstar crystal blue rod and some 30lb bionic braid. The overall rod weight is nice and light and they have quality fuji componentry. I have used a few of them and treated them with disrespect repeatedly and they handle it. When using braid avoid roller tops and runners as the braid can slip down between roller and frame. When you fill up with braid put some mono backing on first to stop the braid spinning on your spool with a heavy weight on.
FEEEISH ONNN!!!

Short rods dont stop you
Short rods dont stop you from feeling bites. Who have you been talking to? Longer rod = more pressure on angler compared to fish (think levers), but longer rods mean you have more maneuverability. Define "really short" though ;)

Well i just want a decent
Well i just want a decent rod to pull up pinks n dhufish , with a soft flexi tip to feel bites easier ! Spose it will be alot different on braid as well. like 5ft6 short ? lol Im not sure , just u see people pull bigg fish on rods with length 6ft or more , maybe its me ? I havent fished alot with boat rods for deeper fish species

Rods under 6' are a lot
Rods under 6' are a lot easier to pull up big fish. Thats why nearly all jig rods are shorter. I'd go 6' or less unless you need the length (for casting or whatever). A soft flexi-tip doesnt help you feel bites better though. Graphite rods tend to be more sensitive (but less forgiving to knocks). Composite rods are more durable, but heavier and less sensitive.
dw about the price? Well, those saltiga rods are nice :p
Braid wise, I like thin, multicoloured japanese braid, but its not cheap ;) No need for any really expensive braid though. Most are fine or bottom bouncing (though, i'm not a fan of fireline, especially on overheads)

good braid is not cheap, you
good braid is not cheap, you can get cheap but thats what it is, everyone has their fave but we have found the 50lb frog quite good and a reasonable price. when buying the braid try and get at least 500mtrs as your always going to get busted off and if you get busted off a couple of times when you only got 300 to start with you end up spending more. remember braid is stronger than mono , we generally use 80lb mono shock leader and rigs when using 50lb braid, mono will break more often than the braid

Only if you choose the right
Only if you choose the right leader and the right knot. You'll still loose your rig though (unless your hook or sinker line snaps instead of the leader).

forgot this tip. with your
forgot this tip. with your rigs if your using swivels to do the paternosca the last section to your sinker go a bit lighter than the rest so if you get snagged you will only more often than not just loose your sinker, this can save you some $ as the swivels and hooks arent getting any cheaper ,
