hey Guys in the Pilbara need some info on what the masters recon is a good rod for the twin power 6000.
Got myself a 2500,4000 and both on dropshots and love them for plastics, would love to look at some different rod for a bit of popping and jigging light.i have the sargosa 14000 on a uglystick for the more trying stuff.
Allways keen to fish and spear.
Got the monties boat.

the monster mesh
was about $300 i think if you only want to spend $200 then probaly look at a strudwick jig rod they are good for the price the just have alcenite guides instead of SIC guides but still a pretty good rod

How much of what will you be
How much of what will you be doing with the rod. The ideal rod for popping and jigging is going to be different. I.e. you'd ideally want a shorter more flexible rod for jigging and a longer faster actio rod for poppers. You can get rods that will be good all rounders for chucking lures/plastics/poppers/jigging, but it wont be ideal at all of them (jack of all trades, king of none). If you're doing 90% of one type and only 10% of the other, it might make more sense to get a rod closer to the 90% one. If its really mixed and you arent doing one type all day, then the allrounder rods wont really be a problem.
For an allrounder rod, I think the eupro rods that honsu has would be great (the ones with the grey blank). Fit the budget well and are quite capable jiggers/lure chuckers.

Yeah, not in the Pilbara,
Yeah, not in the Pilbara, but Ryan will ship up if you wanted. You should be able to get local rods that will do the job, but the comparable rods would be a bit out of your price bracket.
